An opinion is not an estimate. It is a service in its own right: a medical consultation with a diagnosis and a written report, for a fee, which presupposes no treatment on our part.
Who it is for
- Anyone who has been offered a treatment or a procedure and wants a second opinion before deciding.
- Anyone who has already had a treatment elsewhere and is not satisfied with the result, or has had a complication.
- Anyone with a symptom who does not know whether the right answer is aesthetic, medical or neither.
- Anyone who wants to understand, before starting, what it is reasonable to expect.
What it includes
A medical consultation with the specialist for the relevant area, review of the documentation the patient brings, physical examination, laboratory tests if needed, and a written report with the assessment, the alternatives and the limits of each. If the case calls for more than one discipline, the Centre brings them together.
What it does not include
It does not include a judgement on the work of other professionals, which is not our place and not our interest. The opinion concerns the current clinical condition and the options available from here on.
Why it is not free
An opinion you pay for is an opinion that does not have to sell you anything. That is why this service carries a fee and will continue to: anyone who leaves this consultation with the recommendation to do nothing has received exactly what they came for.
