Terms and conditions of use
These terms and conditions govern the use of the website of Medical Center Sorengo Sagl (hereinafter the “Medical Center”) and regulate, where applicable, the relationship between the patient and the Medical Center.
By accessing the website and using the services offered, the user accepts the following conditions.
1. Use of the website
The content of the website is for informational purposes only and does not in any way replace medical advice.
The Medical Center undertakes to keep the published information up to date but does not guarantee that it is always complete, accurate or current.
2. Bookings and services
Bookings can be made through the channels indicated on the website (telephone, WhatsApp, contact form or online platforms).
The appointment is considered confirmed once it has been agreed with the Medical Center or through the booking system.
The patient is required to arrive punctually at the agreed time.
3. No-show and cancellation
- Appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance may be invoiced according to the internal price list at a cost of CHF 50.
- The Medical Center reserves the right to charge the costs resulting from a no-show.
4. Obligation to communicate data
The patient undertakes to promptly communicate any changes relating to: health insurance (LAMal or supplementary LCA), address and contact details, personal data.
In addition:
- The patient is required to register at the reception before each treatment subject to the Insurance Contract Act (LCA)
- Must present an up-to-date insurance card
- Must report in advance any preventive treatments or check-ups
5. Administrative costs
- Failure to communicate in advance any insurance, administrative or personal data changes may result in administrative costs being charged at a cost of CHF 50.
- Failure to report LCA or preventive treatments may result in additional charges.
- In the cases provided for, an administrative fine related to difficulties in managing billing or insurance coverage may be applied at a cost of CHF 50.
6. Liability
The Medical Center is not liable for any damages arising from:
- Improper use of the website
- Technical interruptions or temporary unavailability of the service
- Unauthorized access to the systems, within the limits permitted by law
7. Intellectual property
All website content (texts, images, logos) is the property of the Medical Center or its respective owners and is protected by applicable law.
Reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
8. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our data protection policy, drawn up in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/LPD).
9. Changes
The Medical Center reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
The version published on the website shall prevail.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law; the competent court is that of Lugano.
